As the name implies retail/price computing scales are used primarily in the retail food industry, deli's, farmer's markets and other areas where the selling of products per pound/kilogram is required.
Capacity and Sizes
The standard capacities in retail scales are 30lb/15kg. The platform sizes vary from 8" x 10.5" or up to 13" x 19". They are complete with food grade stainless steel platforms. Some price computing scales have built-in label printing capabilities.
