Most crane and hanging scales are used for verifying the weight of a product that can only be suspended. Crane scales or dynamometers can also be used for tension rigging and other safety scenarios.
Capacity and Sizes
Crane and hanging scales are available in capacities from as small as 1lb all the way up to 500,000lb. All crane scales (dynamometers) carry a 200% overload safety feature as well as an ultimate 500% safety factor. Crane scales are available in analog (dial type) as well as digital and remote digital. We also have an inventory of crane scale and dynamometers in our rental fleet, up to 100,000-lbs
