Precision Scale is pleased to announce it has been awarded a second five- year contract to provide Weigh In Motion Calibration Verification Services to Cornerstone Solutions Inc. Cornerstone Solutions holds the Master Agreement with the Alberta Government to provide this service.
The Weigh In Motion program consists of quartz - piezo sensors in ? bedded in the highways at 6 locations throughout Alberta. The sensors provide the Government with important data that includes the rate of travel, weight, axle spacing and traffic count on key highways in Alberta. Most provincial and state governments in North America use Weigh In Motion technology.
